Capitanes-de-la-Bahia (LDC) inked 27-year old 188cm point guard Jaison Valdez. Valdez played recently at Los Prados in TBS league in Dominican Republic.

He is a very experienced player. Valdez has played also professionally in Argentina, Mexico (Correcaminos), Venezuela (Gaiteros), Dominican Republic (Centro, Marineros, Soles, Cupes and Plaza), El Salvador (Metapan) and Nicaragua (Real Esteli). His team won Dominican Republic Santiago League Regular Season in 2019 and 2021.

Among many awards he was voted Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Apertura Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
